Healingwork with horses changed the way I experience the world, relationships and my life. It is a path that is full of adventures and finding balance with all there is. A path of deepening my understanding of love. ❤️

And how amazing that one day (seemingly out of the blue), I felt the call of the horses. And when I answered, I found them back. And with them a key to my life now🙏

His heart and my heart became the closest friends. One day we recorded this video, and now when I watch it I understand a whole different dimension of the heart. It is the reason why we feel that we love the ones we love even when they are not in the same room, moment or even time. It is the reason we experience more than we are, that healing becomes possible and that we can connect on a soul level.

Most horse lovers spent a lot of time and money to be or live with them. And sometimes we forget to ask a very important question: How does the horse feel about me?

With this question you can become more curious. How does the horse feel in your presence? What kind of time do you spent together? And does the horse experience you as a close herdmember?

And how do you change or improve their experience with you? ☺️🙏

Just a year ago we booked our flight to Sweden to meet the place and house where we now live. 🏡🌲🌲🌲

Dear horse lovers,

There is something weighing on my heart today. As a behavioural therapist and trauma specialist for horses I have met 1000+ horses in my life with problems. And they had one thing in common. They suffered. And beside the cases where horses attacked or showed expressieve and reactive behaviour… It seemed really hard for the environment to see how bad these horse were trying to cope. Especially “the horse community”.

In my work I notice that it is way easier for people who are not used to be around horses to see something is wrong. Than people who spent a lot of time in a horse community, stables or ridingschools and sometimes even trainers or professionals. And it is because they have not subconsciously normalised seeing stressed and shut down horses yet. Nobody told them that …. Is normal for a young horse/mare/gelding or that the horse is just trying to “get out of the work” or other slowguns I hear a lot around stables to explain why a horse in stress or pain is just behaving “badly”.

Horses don’t behave badly, they express themselves and part of understanding them is starting to ask questions and follow them up with why and why and why. Breaking a system starts with consciousness followed up with action.

A shout out to all horse lovers who are trying, professionals who are informing and changing and anyone who keeps asking questions.

For horses, safety is everything. And sadly most of the horses I meet suffer because something inside or outside of them causes them to not feel safe at all! No wonder there are so many problems in behaviour, the physical body and our relationships with them.

As flight animals, their world revolves around it. When they feel safe, they can regulate, learn, connect and their bodies can release tension and proces old an new experiences.

It does not matter if you want to train, build a deeper connection, practice healing or just have a walk around the park. A sense of safety for the horse is the core element that you need.

This beautiufull horse Dancer started attacking humans after big changes at the ranch where she lived. Now It is my job to find out, what is causing her pain, to help her heal.

When horses are in a state of survival and unable to come out of it, there is something in the system that is stull hurting or blocking the regulating forces inside.

In this video I work with unwinding techniques for body, mind and soul. The first step is always connection and trust.

Only when and if the horse is ready, we start moving trough layers, like an onion. These layers are protective patterns. In this case the first one showed up as tension in the physical body.

In the previous session you could see Dancer changing from defensive behavior to trust, today you see the body… and in the next session… who knows?!

We can help so many horses if we start opening our hearts, and start educating ourselves about behavior and wellbeing for horses.❤️🙏
